It costs about $30. Before you take the ride, you will be asked to stand in front of a camera back facing green screen. The super imposed picture will be displayed for you to decide whether to buy after the ride. Caution: It’s expensive.

Day or night ride depends on your preference. Personally, I prefer day. I can see better and further. In a night ride, I can only rely on lights
and the distance I can see is limited.

In conclusion, Singapore Flyer is a place where you want to go for just once and it does not make sense to spend that amount of money to see the same thing twice. But I heard that the flyer now turns counter clock wise instead of clock wise. Is there a difference since you can always walk around the cabin and see both sides of the view anyway?!

The ride is about S$38 for 30 minutes – that’s how long it takes to make 1 cycle. You will get 2 different perspectives if you go either in the day or in the night. If you mind crowd, then it will be advisable to go in the day. You might be able to get a capsule by yourself. However, you may not get a capsule by yourself if you go in the night. Yes, you just ride in it and enjoy the panoramic views. It’s an experience.

    ;p

If I am not wrong it is currently the tallest one in the world, but not for long as many other cities are making it higher. As said, I think the best time to travel on it is 6.30pm and by the time you return to earth at 7.oopm, you have seen the day & night view of S’pore Skyline on the Wheel. You pay for 1 trip but got two views—-it is worth your money.

It now rotates a different direction as the Feng Shui masters said it’s better. :)
Hope i helped, and i think it’s better to go around 5-6pm, when the sun is setting, nice view, plus, no more hot sun! :D
